Chicken Hoisin Meatballs

A twist on Swedish Meatballs, perfect as an entrée with
a glass of red wine

 

                   Cooking Method: Deep-Frying

 

Ingredients

•• 2Tbsp Breadcrumbs

•• 1tsp Butter

•• 1tsp Ginger, grated

•• 200g Minced chicken, preferably thigh meat

•• 1 Small onion, finely diced

•• Oil for frying

•• 4Tbsp Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce and extra on the side for dipping

 

Method

  1. Fry the onions in the butter until just softened, then add to the chicken mince with
    the Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce, breadcrumbs and ginger. Shape into balls and deep
    fry in the oil until golden. (Makes 30 medium balls)
  2. Serve piled on a plate with Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce for dipping.

tips

••  Also great to serve with Lee Kum Kee Teriyaki Sauce or Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce.
